Looks like Tom Ford has just discovered that film lasts longer than mere fashion, from an interview in 'The Guardian':
"Film is forever, and ever and ever. You pop in a film from the '30s, you're looking in their eyes, crying with them, laughing with them. These people are all dead! It's forever, it's a universe, completely sealed in a bubble".
Looking forward to A SINGLE MAN which gets to my local arts cinema 'The David Lean Cinema' [he was a local boy] early March. The buzz is already good on it as one of the year's essentials. Firth, like Clooney, will be nominated, but it seems to (finally) be Jeff Bridges' year...
Love Tom's Grey Vetiver fragrance - it's fabulous!
