Star power

Interesting news that Warren Beatty. 79, and Faye Dunaway, 76, will present the Best Film Award at the upcoming Oscars, 50 years after BONNIE AND CLYDE. I was 21 when Faye and Warren bowled us over in Penn's extraordindary film back in that glorious year 1967 - are we all 50 years older?
Here's another example of star power: Paul Newman, 67, and Elizabeth Taylor, 60, presenting the Best Film Award in 1992, decades after their CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF

  1. After their faux-pas I think their 'star power' has waned somewhat. Maybe had they been 50 years younger they might have known there was something wrong! Just sayin'!

  2. Price Waterhouse strikes again... Still, how stupid does one have to be not to simply have said, "And the Oscar goes to... we seem to have been handed the wrong envelope -- may we have the correct one please?"

    1. Neely you are not only beautiful and talented but intelligent as well!
