Lynn was so funny in so many things, but I love SMASHING TIME - its an essential '60s movie for me, we had a lot of fun seeing it in 1967 - where she and Rita Tushingham are two Northern girls Brenda and Yvonne arriving in Swinging London: "We're here, we're here"! Then there's GEORGY GIRL, her Baba in Desmond Davis's film of Edna O'Brien's THE GIRL WITH GREEN EYES, and later, after a lot of work in America, her hilarious role in GODS AND MONSTERS, that affecting scene in KINSEY with Neeson and THE WHITE COUNTESS with Natasha and Vanessa. I saw her on the stage too in 1970 in a hilarious play with Richard Briers THE TWO OF US where they played various different characters in several sketches. She will indeed be missed.2,000 POSTS DONE!, so I am posting less frequently, but will still be adding news, comments and photos.. As archived, its a ramble through my movie watching, music and old magazine store and discussing People We Like [Loren, Monroe, Vitti, Romy Schneider, Lee Remick, Kay Kendall, Anouk & Dirk Bogarde, Delon, Belmondo, Jean Sorel, Belinda Lee; + Antonioni, Hitchcock, Wilder, Minnelli, Cukor, Joni Mitchell, David Hockney etc].
